Bias tape question


Lately I have been finding a lot of bias tape in the thrift stores.  I really like the rayon tape and know what to do with it.  Usually included in the bag is some bias tape that is not rayon and is labeled double fold - see bottom picture.  I don't know what this stuff is for and I don't have any creative ideas as to how to use it.  Can anyone make some suggestions for me?

Often bias tape is used for binding edges. Because it is cut on the bias, it stretches and curves easily. You could also use it as appliqued lines such as vines and stems or branches.

You can rusch it and add beads in a line or bunches to create a fabric ribbon applique for a seam treatment. Tie it in a bow for a ribbon, edge a piece of fabric or lace, sew the strips together to make different fabric swatches, gather it into a circle to create flowers, tie packages with it, make streamers with it, tie back long hair with it and add bits for dangles, tie back curtains with it after you add bead clusters to the ends, create hangers with it for stockings, stitch it onto fabric in a swirly pattern for an added design.........

Slow Stitching Sunday

 Working on another wool mandala.  It is a pleasure to have the wool on my lap now that the weather has turned colder.  I started this project back in the summer and didn't enjoy working on it so much then.  I wonder if I can complete this project this winter.  There are fifteen wool mandalas to do.  It doesn't seem likely that I will.  I could be wrong.  I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself.  There is no deadline.  The spring might be cool enough to continue working on it.   My but I do jump into the future.  Slow stitching really helps me to be present.  I am so grateful that stitching is such a balm for my soul.  We all need to have something that does that for us.   I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
